Capacity is used for the amount of data that can be stored by the memory system of a particular implementation. For example, a USB stick could be specified for 32GB and hold 32 Gigabytes of data, and a FLASH drive could be specified for 1TB and hold one Terabyte of data. 

Note: Density is typically specified in bits and capacity in bytes.
